Time to really relax!

Body relaxation is a wonderful way to reduce stress and feel good. One effective method for this is autogenic training. This autosuggestion technique allows you to put yourself in a relaxed state. Participants learn to calm their thoughts and consciously relax their bodies.
For children in particular, autogenic training is a playful way of dealing better with exciting situations such as exams or arguments. They develop the ability to remain calm and concentrate on their breathing. Teachers can use this technique to help their students in hectic moments and create a relaxed learning atmosphere.

Autogenic training:
  1. Reduces anxiety and stress,
  2. Improves the immune response
  3. And reduces physical pain such as migraines or back pain,
  4. Also promotes cardiovascular health,
  5. Lowers blood pressure
  6. And improves heart rate variability (= the body's ability to react to stress and demands).

Psychologically, it increases well-being, promotes a positive mood and changes the subjective evaluation of stressors. Finally, it increases the ability to concentrate and to absorb and process information.
So let's go, join Jil and her little light on a journey through the body and discover the benefits of body relaxation and autogenic training for you and your community!
