Learn, experience and live healthy behaviours in a sustainable way.
As part of the RYHEALTH project and in collaboration with the Montemor-o-Velho Educational Centre, the Kitchen Project engaged primary school students and their families in hands-on cooking sessions to promote healthy lifestyles. From March to May 2025, 11 classes took part in fun, educational mornings led by parents. The result? A joyful and meaningful experience, now shared in this video. Let’s keep promoting health, learning, and community together!
The Mediterranean Diet values fresh, seasonal ingredients, with an emphasis on fruits, vegetables, olive oil, fish, nuts, and whole grains. More than just an eating pattern, it is a lifestyle that promotes cardiovascular health, well-being, and balance, combined with tradition and sharing at the table in Mediterranean countries.
The attached presentation offers a clear overview of the Food Project, one of the four pillars of the RYHEALTH initiative. It promotes healthy nutrition. The project strives to teach kids about balanced diets from an early age. Including an adequate amount of fruits and vegetables, especially alongside physical activity, promotes their overall well-being.
